Evora’s Red Flag, Green Flag activity encouraged participants to identify healthy and unhealthy behaviors in friendships, relationships, and everyday interactions, with a special reference to women. Through interactive scenarios and discussions, students learned to recognise warning signs, set boundaries, and promote positive communication.
This session was conducted by CEO and Founder of TheCyberDiplomat, Mrs Sanjana Rathi on cyber security for women and children, highlighting the legal protections available against cyberbullying, doxxing, sexual harassment, and related offences. It also provided teenagers with valuable insights into emerging forms of cybercrime and practical guidance on how to safeguard themselves online.
The event was conducted as an interactive, case-based session that actively engaged both children and employees at Thayi Mane. Participants were presented with a series of scenarios, some fictional and others inspired by real-life cases; each reflecting different issues faced by women in everyday life. Following each scenario presented, participants took part in a game titled “What Went Wrong?”, where they analysed the situation and identified the mistakes, societal attitudes, or actions that contributed to the problem. This encouraged critical thinking, empathy, and open discussion within their groups.
As part of the session, participants were given a printed survey to complete, encouraging honest and individual reflection on workplace challenges. The responses were then used to facilitate an analysis of the answers.
Items such as stationary kits, notebooks, paint, storybooks, toys, educational goods, pens, reading lights, colors etc were donated to Thayi Mane Childrens Home to empower their education
The Legal Rights at Workplace Workshop was conducted on 28th February 2026 at Gopalan College of Commerce for final-year commerce students. The session focused on educating students about wages and benefits laws, POSH regulations, equal remuneration, and employment rights. It included informative presentations by members and an interactive interview-style discussion with Advocate Celin Thomas Chako. The workshop aimed to equip students with practical legal knowledge before entering the workforce. The workshop successfully raised awareness about workplace legal rights and responsibilities. With active student participation and expert insights, the session empowered attendees with essential knowledge to confidently navigate future employment opportunities and safeguard their rights.
As part of the celebration, we set up a vibrant photobooth where attendees joined us in commemorating Pink Legal’s 6th anniversary. People had a wonderful time clicking pictures with fun props like quirky glasses and celebratory banners, adding to the festive spirit of the event. We also offered Polaroid options, allowing participants to instantly capture and preserve their memories from the day. The photobooth became a lively highlight of the bake sale, bringing smiles, laughter, and a strong sense of community.
The PLC Evora Social Mixers team organised an awareness-focused webinar addressing unrealistic beauty standards promoted through social media and their link to eating disorders among teenage students. The session shed light on how constant exposure to curated online images impacts body image, self-esteem, and mental health, particularly among young women. Our experienced speaker provided psychological and social insights into these issues while encouraging healthier perceptions of self and body. The discussion was interactive, with members engaging the speaker through guided questions, followed by an open Q&A session for participants. The event lasted for an hour
This workshop educated participants on the process of filing a First Information Report (FIR) and the rights of women during police interactions. Key topics included Zero FIRs, police obligations, legal safeguards, and practical steps to seek help. The session aimed to reduce fear, increase legal literacy, and empower women to confidently assert their rights.
A social impact activity was conducted addressing menstrual health awareness and academic pressure among students. The session aimed to break taboos, provide accurate information on menstrual hygiene, and discuss stress management techniques. Students were encouraged to seek support, prioritize health, and view education as a supportive rather than pressurizing journey.
PLC Evora hosted a social mixers webinar with a psychologist Mrs Deepthi Pandit, from the Asha Foundation, focusing on peer pressure in the context of social media. The discussion addressed online validation, mental health, body dysmorphia, comparison culture, and digital boundaries. Participants shared personal experiences and learned strategies to navigate social media responsibly while maintaining self-esteem, individuality, and emotional well-being.
This workshop aimed to spread awareness among domestic workers and cleaners about their legal rights, including fair wages, working hours, leave entitlements, and protection against exploitation. The session emphasized the dignity of labour and legal safeguards available to informal workers, while also educating employers on ethical employment practices, mutual respect, and fair working relationships.
PLC Evora conducted a Mock Parliament session titled “Chambers”, focusing on the implementation roadmap of the Women’s Reservation Bill, 2023, with special reference to the insertion of Article 334A. Participants engaged in structured debates, policy analysis, and role-play as parliamentarians, critically examining constitutional implications, timelines, challenges, and the socio-political impact of reserving seats for women in legislatures. Attendees were recognised with awards such as Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, Commendable Delegate, and Special Mention.
At Krupanidhi College, PLC Evora conducted a session examining gender role stereotypes in fashion and how laws have evolved to challenge discrimination and promote freedom of expression. The discussion explored societal norms, historical perspectives, legal reforms, and the role of media and fashion in shaping gender identity, encouraging students to critically question stereotypes and advocate inclusivity.
This activity focused on the importance of men’s mental health, addressing stigma, emotional expression, and societal expectations. Through open conversations and discussions, participants were encouraged to recognize mental health as a universal concern. The session promoted empathy, emotional well-being, and the importance of creating safe spaces for men to seek support.
PLC Evora organized a donation drive where members provided students and faculty at Thayi Mane with daily essential supplies. The initiative aimed to support the immediate needs of the institution while fostering a spirit of compassion, social responsibility, and community engagement among volunteers.
At Thayi Mane, PLC Evora conducted a social mixers activity highlighting the importance of education as a tool for empowerment and social mobility. The session emphasized equal access to education, lifelong learning, and the role of education in breaking cycles of poverty, especially for children from marginalized communities.
A food donation drive was conducted to support stray dogs and injured dogs at shelters. The initiative promoted animal welfare, compassion, and responsibility towards vulnerable animals. Volunteers contributed food and supplies, raised awareness about humane treatment and adoption, and spent time interacting with and feeding the dogs, making the experience both impactful and meaningful.
This social impact activity focused on understanding the challenges faced by women in household settings, including unpaid labour, lack of recognition, and limited decision-making power. Through interactive discussions and activities, participants highlighted the importance of valuing domestic work, promoting gender equality within families, and empowering women through awareness of rights and opportunities.
PLC Evora organized a movie screening addressing gender role stereotypes and the power of women, followed by an interactive discussion. Students and teens reflected on the film’s themes, connected them to real-life experiences, and discussed societal conditioning, resilience, and empowerment. Cinema was used as a medium to promote empathy, awareness, and critical thinking.
PLC Evora conducted an insightful and interactive workshop at TATA AIG focusing on workplace harassment laws, specifically the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act and the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act (PWDVA). The session covered legal provisions, complaint mechanisms, the role of Internal Committees, and real-life case scenarios, encouraging dialogue on creating safe, inclusive, and legally compliant workplace environments.
On 22nd February 2026, Evora hosted a successful fundraiser bake sale at Adarsh Palm Retreat from 1–6 PM, celebrating Pink Legal’s 6th anniversary. With over 70 attendees, we raised ₹15,000 through the sale of brownies, cupcakes, donuts, lemonade, ice tea, Polaroids, and a festive photobooth — and everything sold out. The funds will support future Evora women empowerment initiatives, donation drives, and educational programs for women in need.
